High quality guidebook with detailed information on route access, descent, equipment and (of course) the route topo. I only wish I could take-out the chapters/ areas info to take with me during the approach hike, or even to the climb (if few pages). Must have guide for the awsome high sierra climbs as well as a great book for your home library.
This guide include GPS coordinates which for some routes in the Sierra's are almost essential if you haven't been there.The descriptions are very well written and so far I have found them to be accurate. Same for the topos.

Good Addition, I liked the topo maps in the book of the approach!
Many of the topos and route photos are so blurry that they are illegible and useless. Do yourself a favor and buy the digital copy on the Supertopo website.I just received this from Amazon and though it was a bootlegged copy when I saw the blurry topos. After reading some of the forum posts along with messages from Chris McNamara himself, I realized that this is a legit copy. I am a big fan of Supertopos and own several of your guidebooks for different areas. However, I am very disappointed with this book in its current condition. This is not the quality that I associate with Supertopo!UPDATE: I emailed Supertopo.com and they shipped me a guidebook that's not blurry free of charge. Apparently, only the first batch printed were blurry. So be careful where you guy these books from. Best to stick to buying from Supertopo and not random vendors on Amazon.
