I have purchased a number of these books for use during a home Bible Study. I think that the old songs are beautiful & I enjoy introducing songs that may or may not be familiar to the group. These songs are written in a key that is easy to sing. The words of the songs are very moving. There is a section that has the song titles categorized such as in faith & trust. Responsive readings correlate with these categories which I find helpful.

I grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist church, and miss these old hyms that people used to sing. For some reason, those modern day praise songs aren't as moving to me, and I turned to Jesus again after suffering from some medical problems. I find these songs to be a lot more meaningful and comforting, and I hope to use this hymnal more with my walk with God.

The book arrived in a timely manner.It was in good condition.It's not what I expected because there was not enough information in the description.This particular hymnal has no music (notes).

Type of binding allows wear and eventual loss of the center facing pages with no possible way to reattach or patch. This is the reason I purchased this replacement and I expect it will not last many years.
