This pairing almost needed to have an uneasy start or it would not have been believable or worthy of either of them.I loved how Tori's sharp edges and wild passion gets softened and caressed by seeing Ethan's strength and devotion to his kids, unveiling the fragility beneath this feisty Latino goddess.And likewise, how Ethan's gruff HAF beast gets soothed by her beauty and tenderness, revealing a swoon worthy alpha hero.My heart was full to bursting with Tori's interactions with Ethan's kids. It's hard to provide care, nurture and heal little hearts that struggle to make sense of separation and this in itself was beautifully written.In contrast, I was coming up with ways to physically maim Ethan's ex whilst reading this story, and similarly was plotting a painful removal of Tori's ex's genitalia! So much is the emotion this story grinds out of you!But tear you apart as this story does it mends you equally as lovingly. Such a great read, 5 glorious stars!!
