Thomas P. Holland is professor and founding director of the Institute for Nonprofit Organizations at the University of Georgia and managed its graduate degree program from 1998 to 2007. He previously served as director of the UGA School of Social Work's Center for Social Services Research and Development and its doctoral program.Roger A. Ritvo is University Distinguished Research Professor of Management at Auburn University Montgomery. His two most recent books are (with Thomas P. I take a nonprofit management class with one of the authors (Dr. Holland), and I'd have to say that this is a well-written textbook. Each chapter introduces you to the world of managing a nonprofit organization. The chapters aren't full of confusing jargon, and are actually interesting.
