I give this book two stars for the big, colorful illustrations, but zero stars for the content. The text was oddly repetitive, and veered between simplistic explanations and oddly technical terms. But what ruined it for me is that it confused "breaks" and "brakes" -- on the same page, even. Not okay.To clarify, "brakes" stop the bike, until they "break" and stop functioning.

My husband is a cyclist, so our kiddo has been fascinated by bikes from an early age. At 1.5 years, this is one of his favorite books. He loves looking at the different bikes. Daddy quizzes him on bike parts, and he can identify the wheels, seat, handlebars, and pedals. And with all the facts & trivia, he'll continue learning and discovering for years to come.

We enjoy this authors books!

I like the bicycle book because of it's color, illustrations, and the detailed pictures. I think the students will be able to make a good connection when reviewing this book.
