I am a fan of Native American romance, but it is very hard to find an enjoyable story without extreme sexual descriptiveness. This book is one of those. I for one do not require such in-depth sexual intimacy or any, to thoroughly enjoy a well written manuscript. I know people "hook up", but I definitely do not want every detail. It is my opinion only, but I decided not to finish the rest of the book. I also deleted it from my library. Subtlety is not out of fashion. I will not read any other book by this author, but will look for other authors with a different perspective and a greater respect for the Native American community.
Independent woman.....but ended loving Storm very much....and he loved her....I'm glad they ended up with the child.....and was sad she couldn't have any....but ended well !!!
This book was amazing! I just finished a few days ago. The author wastes no time, there is always something exciting happening in this book. There are so many twists and turns, I hardly knew what to expect. I loved the romance between Rachael and Storm Dancer. It was a genuine romance, with ups and downs for the couple that were engaging. The secondary characters were also good, the good and the bad. I have recently gotten into reading Native American romance novels and so far this has been one of the most memorable!
This is by far one of the best book I have read in a long time. I stayed up until 2 and 3 in the morning reading this book.. It was always something going on that kept you glued to the book. Broken Horn should have been killed long before he was. I was hoping Storm Dancer would find out that Broken Horn had killed his mother before he died, or maybe Rachel was pregnant before the book ended, but maybe this could make a beginning for a part 2 to this book . Never can tell. YOU WILL ENJOY THIS BOOK. IT WAS GREAT.
5 stars for this book I love historical romance but have not read a very good one in along time glad to finally found one
I couldn't put this book down. It had me from the get go. Always some exciting twist. You won't be disappointed.

I didn't give this book five stars, because there were a lot of errors that distracted from the story. I really liked how Colleen French took you on a journey. This story was full of hardships, love and not so shocking twists. I love Storm Dancer so much. He was an incredible character.
